Naoise O’Cearuil raises concerns about Noise on M4 works

Cllr Naoise O’Cearuil has received assurances from Transfer Infrastructure Ireland that noise from works on the M4 will cease shortly.

Naoise said, “I have been contacted by many residents about the noise coming from the motorway. I can confirm that these works are being carried out by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII)”

“I have requested that the TII inform residents before any works like this in future and Mr O Neill was adamant that no more works will take place after this Friday.”

“I’m also asking the TII to provide noise reduction barriers and that sound reduction tarmacadam is laid down on the stretch of the M4 outside Maynooth.”
