Frank O’Rourke TD has called on the national transport authority and Kildare Co Co to provide a Bus Lane on the M4 which could be done as part of the upgrade that is going to take place this year on the motorway
“Given the increased numbers using public transport and the requirement to provide a better public transport service for people livening in North Kildare, we need to ensure that Bus travel times reduces to enable a better service.”
“Providing a better bus service is critical on Dublin Bus Routes and Bus Eireann Routes 115 and 120 serving the the towns of Maynooth, Leixlip, Kilcock, Clane and Celbridge. Having a Bus Lane on the M4 to Kilcock interchange will assist in providing a better bus service.”
“I will press for this to be provided as part of the works.” Concluded Deputy O’Rourke.
