LAWLESS DISAPPOINTED AT MINISTER’S REFUSAL TO ENGAGE ON 120 BUS ROUTE

James Lawless TD is disappointed that Minister Shane Ross refused to answer a question put to him about capacity on he 120 Bus Route

James commented, “I recently submitted a Parliamentary Question to the Minister for Transport on the ongoing capacity problems on the 120 Bus. The Minister referred the question to the NTA rather than providing an answer himself. I was informed by the NTA that interim arrangements are in place to supply the same capacity as normal on the 120 before the delayed transfer to Go Ahead takes place on 19th January.”

“However, it is clear that capacity problems are persisting on the route so I will be asking the NTA to improve capacity. When Go Ahead take over in January capacity should be drastically improved and I will be monitoring the situation to see how the service is operating.”
