Local Fianna Fail TD, Frank O Rourke, has called on the Government to provide additional resources to increase the capacity on the Maynooth Line.

The Maynooth Harbour Cycle Link was officially opened today by the Minister for Transport and Tourism, Shane Ross, in the Harbour Field today.
I’ve worked with my council colleagues and council staff over the past three years to bring this to fruition.
Another example of an excellent facility available in Maynooth. It’s time to start promoting Maynooth as a tourist destination from a national and international level.
Cllr Naoise O’Cearuil has called for greater Gardaí numbers in Maynooth
Naoise commented, “At last week’s Kildare Joint Policing Committee (JPC), I called on the Gardaí to increase the number of Gardaí in Maynooth. We need a larger contingent in the town and current figures are not reflective of the population which does not take into account the combined local population and that of the University. ”
“I believe that we need a full 24 hour operational Garda Station in Maynooth.”
Cllr Naoise O’Cearuil, Cllr Paul Ward and James Lawless TD have made a Joint observation to An Bord Pleanála regarding the prosposed development at Mariaville, Moyglare Road and Dunboyne Road in Maynooth.
