O’ROURKE WELCOMES ADDITIONAL STREET SWEEPING

Frank O’Rourke TD has been informed by Kildare County Council that street sweeping for towns in North Kildare is to be extended into weekends and will include Maynooth, Celbridge, Leixlip and Naas

In recent months,  weekend street sweeping has been requested by tidy town committees, local businesses and community groups for the towns of Maynooth, Celbridge, Leixlip and Naas.

LAWLESS WELCOMES ADDITIONAL SUNDAY SERVICES ON THE 67 ROUTE

James Lawless TD is delighted to say Dublin Bus have confirmed additional Sunday services to me following meetings he had held with them during the Summer on the 67 route

The new timetable will mean a 67 will arrive into Celbridge & Maynooth every 30 minutes on Sunday from the 27th of this month.

James said, “I am looking forward to continue working with Dublin Bus and the NTA to improve services for the commuters in Celbridge and Maynooth.”

O’ROURKE SEEKING IMPROVEMENTS ON THE 66 AND 67 SERVICE

Frank O’Rourke has met the the NTA and Dublin Bus in recent days again to get improvements on the 66 & 67 Dublin Bus Service

Frank commented, “On the 66 Service I’m pursuing an improved frequency and in particular along the Glen Easton Road as this is an issue which comes up at my weekly clinics in Leixlip.”

“On the 67 Service I’m pursuing an earlier Sunday morning service with a more regular frequency of this Sunday service along with a later 67X from Dublin on the weekdays to accommodate all those public transport users that work until 6pm each evening. O’ROURKE WELCOMES PROGRESS ON TAKING-IN-CHARGE OF ESTATES

Frank O’Rourke TD has had meetings again in recent days with Kildare County Council on behalf of the Residents regarding having the remaining services in Wolstan Haven & Oldtown Mill in Celbridge taken-in-charge

Frank commented, “I am pleased that this process is progressing well and works are currently been carried out and are near completion by the developer/contractor in relation to the snags which were identified by the Council and Residents. I will continue to make representations on behalf of the Residents and work with the Council until the snagging is complete to enable the Council to advertise these Estates in order for them to go through the statuary process of been taken-in-charge by K.C.C.”

“I look forward to continuing this work with my Colleague Cllr. Michael Coleman until this process is completed.”
